We're in Bali! Our Running Store in Seseh Is Officially Open.
On 22 August, just one day before the Maybank Bali Marathon, we opened our doors at Jalan Pantai Seseh 888. That makes two stores now, Jakarta and Bali, and we honestly could not have asked for a better way to kick things off.
Our neighbours Neighbourhood Bali and Flowerboy Studio hosted a welcome party for us: a morning shakeout run with a DJ and good company. Almost 200 + of you showed up. Two hundred! Some were in town for race day, but plenty just came for the run, the music and the good vibes: locals, friends who flew in from Jakarta, travellers, and a few people who simply heard there was a DJ and great coffee.
Flowerboy Studio led the run out through Seseh, and by the time everyone made it back the DJ had the whole street moving. Sweaty, smiling, and for the racers among us, legs nicely loosened for the big day. It felt like a finish line party before the race had even started.
We also used the morning to launch something special: the Optimistic Runners Bali Marathon edition, released right here in our new store. If you were there, you saw how fast people got around the collections. If you missed it, come by and see it for yourself.
To everyone who came, ran, danced and stuck around: thank you. You made day one unforgettable.

Right next door is Neighbourhood Bali, the spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ingredients are top notch, and their Tuna Melt is one of the best we have ever eaten. Post-run fuel, sorted.
Then there is Flowerboy Studio, pouring the best coffee in Seseh and hosting the run everyone talks about. Every Wednesday and Saturday at 6 AM, the crew gathers, Jaryd reads one of his special poems (yes, really, and yes, it hits), and off you go: 5 to 10 KM run through the paddy fields and down to the beach. You come back to the best crowd on the island, runners from every corner of the world. Once a month they also host the Satisfy LSD run for those who love a long, slow one.
